Tall House was created using only wood from two old crates found in a field. It contains a bed in the upstairs room and a coffin in the attic. The only material exceptions from the crates are wood glue and mica sheets for the windows.
In order to avoid coronavirus, I've been unable to use my studio in Lakewood and join my studio-mates there, so the camaraderie and sharing of ideas is limited to texts and phone calls. Not really the same thing as being immersed in a creative area with other artists/illustrators. So I am working from home for the duration. My productivity has decreased somewhat as working from home can be distracting.
There have been positives: Fine-tuning my online store and website, and expanding my art-product line; things always put on the back-burner in pre-covid times.
